Structure, not figures
365 Retail Markets doesn't publish pricing, so there's no honest way to compare numbers — and inventing them would be exactly the kind of thing a page like this shouldn't do. What is publicly verifiable, straight from their own site, is how the deal is structured. That's the real comparison:
| Scan n Go | 365 Retail Markets | |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing | Published: $39/month, plus your own processing rate | Set per Purchase Order — their Terms & Conditions point to "the applicable fees on 365's then current published rate schedule," which isn't published anywhere public |
| Contract term | Month to month, cancel any time | 3-year Initial Term per their own T&Cs, auto-renewing in 1-year terms unless you give 60 days' notice |
| Hardware | Bring your own iPad ($400–$600), you own it outright | Kiosk hardware purchased through them, with an optional 3rd-party financing program per their FAQ — financed hardware tends to track the length of the contract it's tied to |
| Commission on sales | Never — we don't take a cut of what your market sells | Not disclosed publicly either way — ask for this in writing before signing, on any platform |

Worth knowing if you're evaluating this space right now
In May 2026, the FTC required 365 Retail Markets to divest Cantaloupe's Three Square Market business as a condition of its $848 million acquisition of Cantaloupe Inc. — the two largest micromarket kiosk providers combining into one. The FTC's concern was software interoperability: without the divestiture, the merged company could have restricted competing software from integrating with its kiosks, which is exactly the kind of lock-in this page is about.

We're not saying this to score a point — it's genuinely relevant context if you're choosing a platform right now: the two biggest incumbents just tried to become one company.
