Affinity Auto LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Scan n Go micro-market kiosk platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you connect and use our application with your payment processor account — currently Square, GoDaddy (Poynt Payments), or Stripe, whichever you've chosen for your kiosk.
When you authorize our application to connect to your chosen payment processor, we receive an OAuth access token or equivalent API credential from that processor. We use this credential exclusively to facilitate communication between your kiosk's iPad interface and your own physical payment terminal. We do not independently store, log, or harvest customer credit card numbers, personal billing addresses, or detailed consumer profiles.
We use the credential and data provided by your processor's APIs solely to operate the unattended retail features of the app: syncing your item catalog (for GoDaddy and Stripe, your catalog is stored in our own database; for Square, it's read directly from your Square Item Library), calculating cart totals and tax, and triggering checkout requests to your authorized payment terminal.
All financial transactions are processed securely by your chosen processor. We do not intercept or store raw payment card data. Depending on which processor you connect, your use of this application is also governed by that processor's own privacy policy and terms of service: Square, GoDaddy, or Stripe.
We implement industry-standard encryption and secure token management (via MongoDB Atlas) to protect your merchant API credentials. If you disconnect our app from your payment processor's own dashboard, we revoke and delete your stored access tokens.
